What is included in the rent?
All monthly fees are separate from the rent. We charge $40 per person per month for water, sewer and garbage. Electricity is metered and billed directly through Seattle City Light. Internet and cable must be set up under the tenants name through a provider of their choice and they will bill you directly.
What are the costs to lease a unit?
In order to reserve a unit there is a $25 application fee per applicant, we require a holding fee of $500 for 1 and 2 bedroom units and $750 for our 3 bedroom units. Upon move-in, this holding fee will become your refundable security deposit. The holding fee can vary based on credit screening results.
Can we add a co-signer?
guarantors must show income that is at least 5 times the monthly rent. If there is more than one guarantor the income will be combined.
Do you accept financial aid or grants as proof of income?
No, we only accept income from employment in the form of two recent pay stubs. The applicant's combined income must be at least 3 times the monthly rent.
Do you offer maintenance 24 hours?
Yes.
How are maintenance requests handled?
Maintenance requests are handled online through the resident portal.
What if I need something repaired in my apartment? What should I do?
If you need maintenance, simply go to your resident portal on our website and fill out a maintenance request. You can also call or stop by the front desk. If it is an emergency, please notify the front office immediately.
Is parking available?
Yes, Campus View has three controlled access parking garages. We offer reservable parking for $100.00 a month in our controlled access covered garage. There is also free street parking in the area.
Do you allow pets?
We love our pets, but other than service animals and emotional support animals (both require documentation), we can’t let them into our buildings.
How are packages handled?
Carriers use amazon hub locker to store delivery and packages.
How far are you from UW?
We are very close to the Uw only a 14 minute walk, 5 min drive, or 6 min by bike.
Is there bike storage?
Yes, We offer a controlled access bike cage.
Do you charge rent per room?
No, we charge a flat rate rent for the whole unit. This rent amount is shared equally between all tenants living in that unit and it is the tenant's responsibility to determine how they will split up the monthly costs amongst themselves.
How many floors each building has?
Campus View (I) has 5 floors and Campus View (II) has 4 floors.
Is there an elevator?
Campus View (I) has an elevator. Campus View (II) doesn't have an elevetor.
What internet and cable providers can we choose from?
Xfinity and Century link are the current providers that service our building.
How close Campus View is to a bus stop?
Bus stop is across the street on 45th street.
Are there any grocery stores near Campus View?
Yes, Trader Joes, QFC, and Safeway.
